Gamsimmon

Hello! I go by Aster/Gam. I'm a 25 year old Korean artist based in Oklahoma. I have worked in digital art for over a decade online. I usually depict myself by my mascot;
Gam the persimmon.My art style has been described as a energetic mix and blend of cartoon and anime. Occasionally deviating from it to explore different styles outside of my comfort zone.I take in many inspirations and my goal is to make works out of the many things that I enjoy, and give it back to the community while giving it my own flare.

Table Timeline

I began to table at events during mid-2024 and onwards! Every event I go to gives me the opportunity to meet and interact with the community and I'm always ecstatic and grateful to meet with new and returning faces. This is to showcase my set up to every event I've been to that I've been able to document to this day.

Stamp Rally Graphic Design & Work

I love participating in stamp rally at conventions and events! I've participated in many and organized a few. Here are examples of my work and rewards for stamp rallies I've been in the past

Process

This section is to show my art process as well as verifying that all my work is NOT made by AI or ever will be in the future. Any work that seems to deviate from my usual style is me simply experimenting and trying out new methods.

Live Commissions

At select events, I take in live sketch commissions drawn on 5x7 cardstock or bristol paper. Pictures taken here are examples of my work throughout previous events.

The two options I provide for sketch commissions are for chibis and for busts. I do characters from existing franchises, original characters, and live portraits. I also sell the example displays on the last day of the event for those who are interested.
